A
particularly useful machine for producing timber of a linear
size time and again. Of course, you can use your planer surfacer
to square two sides and then your thicknesser to bring down to
the size required size, but this takes time and skill to get
two identical pieces of timber. The foursided planer is the answer
to many a carpentry workshop prayer, in one pass it is possible
to produce uniformly dimensioned planed timber ready for further
machining. A very valuable piece of equipment in the modern production
workshop this machine is supplied as standard with four steel
cutterheads.
